Women’s Turkey Tour

Culture, Connection & Adventure

There’s something about Turkey that captures your heart the moment you arrive. It’s where East meets West, tradition blends with modern life, and every corner tells a story. Each time I return with my ladies on our Face 2 Face Turkey women’s tour, I’m reminded how beautifully layered this country is — rich in culture, colour, history, and connection.

Our journey begins in Istanbul, the city where continents meet. We stay in comfortable boutique hotels that reflect the spirit and warmth of Turkey, surrounded by the sounds, flavours, and rhythms that make Istanbul so unforgettable. We explore iconic landmarks like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, and the Spice Bazaar — places overflowing with culture, fragrance, and friendly Turkish hospitality.

One of my favourite days in Istanbul is when we go completely local — hopping on the tram and exploring the colourful neighbourhoods of Balat and Fener. With their street art, historic houses, and cosy cafés, these creative districts offer a more authentic side of the city that I absolutely love sharing with my ladies.

From Istanbul, we fly to Cappadocia, and this is where the adventure truly begins. This fairytale landscape, shaped by nature and history, never fails to take our breath away. We explore the fairy chimneys, the Pasabag Valley, the ancient Zelve Monastery, and the underground cities around Göreme and Avanos. For those who wish, we experience one of the most iconic activities in Turkey — a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Watching the sun illuminate the valleys is a moment no one ever forgets.

Next, we travel to Pamukkale, one of Turkey’s most famous natural wonders, where the white terraces sparkle under the sun. Here we soak in the warm Cleopatra Pools, a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Then it’s off to the Turkish Riviera, and the stunning coastal town of Bodrum. It’s all about sunshine, sea, and style. We enjoy beautiful shopping, seaside cafés, and one of the most loved experiences of the trip — a full-day boat cruise along the Aegean Coast. We swim, snorkel, tan, and simply soak in the tranquillity of the blue waters.

From Bodrum, we continue to Kuşadası, known for its lively promenade, seaside markets, and excellent leather shopping. From here, we explore Ephesus, one of the most important ancient cities in the world. Walking through its marble streets and standing before the Library of Celsus feels extraordinary — history truly comes alive. We also visit the charming hillside village of Şirince, famous for its wine, cobbled lanes, and Greek-Turkish heritage.

Our next stop is the picture-perfect town of Alaçatı, one of my personal favourites. With stone houses, bougainvillaea-covered lanes, boutique shops, and relaxed charm, it feels like stepping into a postcard. We stroll, shop, sip coffee, and enjoy the elegance of this coastal village.

Then we make our way to Bursa, known as the City of Silk. Here we discover colourful markets, beautiful Ottoman architecture, and the rich heritage of the silk trade. Nearby, we explore Cumalıkızık, a 700-year-old Ottoman village where life moves slowly and warmly. Cobblestone streets, wooden houses, and friendly locals make it feel like stepping back in time.

Finally, we return to Istanbul — hearts full, bags full, and memories overflowing with connection, sisterhood, adventure, and joy.

Every journey through Turkey reminds me that travel isn’t just about visiting new places — it’s about feeling them. It’s about the people we meet, the friendships we make, and the moments that stay etched in our hearts. Turkey is all of that and more — a country that truly bridges continents, cultures, and connections
