The Face 2 Face Ladies Tour India in November 2025 was everything a women-only journey should be — vibrant, soulful, joyful, and deeply connecting. With 14 incredible women, we travelled through Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Udaipur and Jodhpur, returning to Delhi with hearts full, friendships formed, and memories (and shopping bags!) overflowing.
This was not just a holiday — it was a shared experience of culture, laughter, discovery, and sisterhood.
A Special Group of Women & Beautiful Connections
Every Face 2 Face tour is shaped by the women who join — and this group was truly special.
Our travellers included:
- Two mothers travelling with their daughters
(Mom Vera with daughter Vera, and Mom Ilze with daughter Madri, who joined us from London) - Two sisters, Moira and Heloise
- Three long-time friends, Di, Olga and Shelley
- Two lifelong friends, Lein and Yvonne
- Reana, who joined solo and quickly became part of the group
- Anel, my roommate and undisputed number-one shopper of the tour
One magical full-circle moment unfolded when Reana and Heloise recognised each other — Reana had once been Heloise’s school teacher. Moments like these are a reminder of how travel connects stories in the most unexpected ways.
Women-only travel creates space for friendships to form naturally — and this tour was filled with exactly that.
Highlights
Delhi & Agra – First Impressions of India
From the moment we arrived, India welcomed us with energy and excitement. Bustling markets, tuk-tuk rides, and sensory overload set the tone for the journey.
Standing before the Taj Mahal in Agra was an emotional and awe-inspiring experience — one of those moments that reminds you why travel matters.

Jaipur – The Pink City Experience
Jaipur delivered colour, elegance, and unforgettable experiences:
- An elephant ride up to Amber Fort, truly regal and memorable
- A block-printing workshop, where each lady hand-printed her own scarf
- A glamorous night out at Bar Palladio, complete with cocktails and beautiful décor
- Wholesale jewellery shopping, irresistible and sparkling
Jaipur perfectly balanced culture, creativity, and fun.
Pushkar – A Peaceful Pause
Pushkar offered a slower, more spiritual rhythm.
We enjoyed an authentic camel-cart ride through the countryside to a local village, where our hostess welcomed us with fresh chai and hot chapattis made in front of us. It was a simple, heartfelt experience that left a lasting impression.
Udaipur – The City of Lakes
Udaipur felt like magic unfolding moment by moment.
Highlights included:
- A charming homestay filled with warmth and music
- A spontaneous piano performance by Moira, accompanied by Krishna
- A memorable Indian cooking class with Sushma, where we:
- Cooked three vegetable dishes
- Roasted and ground spices
- Made chai
- Prepared chapattis and stuffed parathas
- A visit to the City Palace
- A serene boat ride on Lake Pichola
Udaipur captured hearts with its beauty and soulful atmosphere.
Jodhpur – The Blue City
Jodhpur was vibrant, bold, and unforgettable.
We explored the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, towering above the bluewashed city below, wandered through colourful markets, and enjoyed the calm of our beautiful accommodation.
Our first-class overnight train back to Delhi was filled with laughter, snacks, stories, and — as tradition dictates — our famous empty mayo bottle, bringing smiles from tours past.
Wedding Season in India – A Celebration Everywhere
November is wedding season in India, and every city buzzed with music, dancing, fireworks, and celebration. On more than one occasion, we were invited to join wedding festivities — experiencing firsthand the joy and colour of Indian celebrations.
Laughter, Fun & Sisterhood on Tour
Some of the moments we’ll never forget:
- Tuk-tuk races through busy streets
- Piling onto a big truck after wholesale fabric shopping
- Daughter Vera’s hilarious jelly-bean challenge
- Late-night chats, games, and endless laughter
